At the occasion of the Geneva Motorshow 2013, D2NA-Digitas France and Nissan Europe present a new customization device for the Nissan Juke. The app, also available on Nissan website www.nissan.fr and shortly in Nissan dealerships in Europe, allows discovery and 3D personalization of the vehicle with a never equaled degree of precision and realism.
As a car manufacturer keen to be at the forefront of ‘Innovation that Excites’, it seems almost predestined that Nissan should announce its partnership with the most exciting of innovators – TED, a non-profit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.
This strategic alliance, enabled by Nissan Europe’s digital marketing agency D2NA-Digitas France, was announced at the TEDxParis event on the 6th of October.
Nissan Europe will be the sole brand sponsor of TED’s – City 2.0 website, thecity2.0.org. The City 2.0 is the recipient of the 2012 TED Prize, an award granted annually to a person or idea with a world-changing wish. The City 2.0 encourages ideas and action that will benefit our cities, and the future of the billions of people who live in them.
It is important to highlight that this partnership between TED and Nissan isn’t just in the virtual world. In the spirit of TED’s mantra, ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’, Nissan Europe begins a multi-city roadshow with the Nissan LEAF in mid-October that will bring to life possible visions of the future.
This past summer, Adobe announced the beta launch of Adobe Flash Player 11 and its new revolutionary hardware-accelerated Stage 3D capability. Nissan Europe and Digitas Lab, in their perpetual search for innovative concepts and technologies, decided to build on the new opportunities offered to create a new, highly innovative and impactful experience around the Nissan JUKE : Nissan Stage JUK3D !

- The experience of discovery and customization: The module lets consumers fully discover the vehicle from every angle, the Nissan JUKE no longer holds any secrets for users online! It also lets users customize the Nissan JUKE in real time by choosing the color and look of their dream car.
-The driving experience: The user can start the engine of their Nissan JUKE and set off on an exciting race through a virtual 3D environment!

To support the promotion of two new flagship vehicles in Europe – the NISSAN GT-R 2011 and the NISSAN LEAF (Car of the Year 2011), Digitas France has designed NISSAN LEAF and NISSAN GT-R iPad applications for NISSAN Europe, available in dealerships and in the Apple Store (access for the public is free).
The user is the virtual driver of the Nissan JUKE, and infects the city with its energy. This personalized night drive experience allows the user to dive into 6 scenes full of energy, which allow him to understand the car in the context of its world.
The most innovative element of this experience is not just the quality of the 3D and the fluidity of the navigation, but its connectivity. The user can personalize his drive through Facebook Connect with his own profile details integrated in the module, and share it on his Facebook page. Surprising, personal and ground-breaking – combining just the right mix of functionality and engagement !
